The hotel is just a few minutes from the Leopold Park: kidkarting, kidplay in the sand playground, 3 tennis courts, mini golf, snooker and crazy golf - authentic recreation in the centre of our 'steedje'.

Would you like to get a taste of the history of this fishing town? Then there is the Belle Epoque centre.

House of Majutte is an authentic old fisherman's cottage where you can also eat very good food.

Parking: we rent some parking spaces in a car park at the back of the hotel in Breydelstraat. This costs €20/24h (13h-13h). Maximum height : 1m80

In July and August our street becomes a pedestrian zone, i.e. not accessible by car after 10 am.

No parking on the Market Square on Friday mornings until 2pm. From May to September, also not on Monday mornings until 2pm because there is a market then.

You can easily find the large car parks on the city map.

From the Easter holidays onwards, the beach is transformed into a succession of hip terraces - sometimes with live DJ or with sultry music in the background. The cocktails still taste so good in the warm evening sun. For the sporty ones there is the O'Neillbeach club. There you can agree to go kiting or kayaking at sea, golf-surfing or wakeboarding. In August there is even a real ski slope. The skateboarders really get their money's worth then.

Also worth a visit are the nearby nature reserves 'De Uitkerkse polder' and 'De Fonteintjes'. The Uitkerkse polder is a vast polder landscape of more than 1400 ha that gives a nice picture of what the coastal polders looked like a hundred (and) years ago; the 'Fonteintjes' is a narrow belt of dunes with 3 lakes that are filled by a fresh water bubble under the dunes; unique here are the thousands of orchids that colour the dune grasslands purple in May and June.
