Experience the winter months like never before during Winter Fun, from 27 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. You can look forward to an indoor ice rink, a cosy winter bar, a charming Christmas market with mini chalets, a mulled wine tower and a magical LED ball on King Leopold III Square.
Wintergloed in Bruges
Wintergloed opens on Friday 20 November 2026. Until Sunday 3 January 2027, the Christmas markets will once again form a charming meeting place on the Markt and Simon Stevin Square. The popular ice-skating rink and the IJsgloed winter bar will also be back in King Albert I Park.
For three months, you can therefore enjoy a varied programme that truly captures the spirit of winter. From cosy get-togethers and cultural experiences to surprising activities in unique venues: Wintergloed invites you to discover Bruges in a unique way, both during the festive season and also in the quieter weeks of the winter.
The programme includes both paid activities and activities that are free of charge. Some of those experiences will be available for a longer period of time, whilst others will take place just once.
